The CEI 64-08 standards make selectivity (disconnection) between RCDs mandatory. Therefore, the circuit will not be single, but divided into several parts. In general, the following separate circuits must be provided: • 10A basic lighting; • 10 A plug socket (one line every 15 sockets max.); • 16 A plug sockets (one line every 15 sockets max.).
In Italy, residual current devices must be installed in civil systems to deal with electrical leakage problems and, therefore, the risk of electrocution.
