The structure of the passive part of the wiring and in particular the one dedicated to the interconnections is represented as a tree diagram, where each section is connected to the other through a very specific choice depending on whether it is horizontal, vertical or backbone wiring and requires a knowledge of all the technical rules and standards, which require the specific use of a type of transmission medium.
